Project Life
Yep, still going strong- well, maybe medium... I have skipped some weeks here and there and if I go back and do them- fine and if I don't- I'm really ok with that too. My style is very flexible - I sometimes use different templates, different fonts, different designers & different ideas on each spread- and I like it like that! Having said that, I do of course tend to use a ton of Splendid Fiins monthly kits and other PL goodies. Laurie Ann also creates these amazing kits that have so many great elements to them, and she often includes journal cards- which are essential to a PL or pocket type of page. I am so lucky to be on these two creative teams at The Lily Pad- it is a big motivator to keep the PL pages going!

October past..
Over the years I've done quite a few Mini-books & home décor projects- especially when I taught classes at I-Scrap. I still love to do them, but now many of them are done digitally- my Project Life being the main book I do.
However, this year I am really excited to get my hands messy with actual paper & glue as I was asked by my photog/ scrappy friend Terri to do December Daily with her! I've ordered my kit from Studio Calico and it is on it's way! If your not familiar with December Daily you can check it out right here. I've almost always done some type of a December book - I'll post some of those when December comes around, which feels like it will probably be in about 10 minutes..
October is another month where I have a few books/paper projects I put out. I have a few pictures of them and thought it would be fun to share them with you- in case your not coming to my house for Halloween- here are a few random shots of my October favorites.
This was a book I made way back in 2009- I included pics of the boys every year from the time they were 10months old thru about 2009. I put it out every year and enjoy looking at Halloween past. -The pic was taken with my iphone- so the quality is not great.
This are pages from another book I made in 2010 - the book happens to be missing this year... I think it got packed away in the attic. I love the cover of this book - which is not pictured, but if I can find it I'll post it.
And this is a banner I made last year that I hang on the fireplace. I am still really loving the black & cream theme so I decorate this area more for adults than the kiddos.
I hope you have a chance to do something crafty around your home this Fall, or if that is not your thing- maybe just enjoy a pumpkin spice latte.

spreading the love.......
I love Photoshop Elements & my Canon 60D and I love my 24-70mm f2.8 lens. And I love these boys. Not necessarily in that order. That's all for today. Smile.
SOOC - pretty sweet...
After some tweaking in PSE & an Action by The Coffee Shop blog - yep, love it.

Hello September
September?! Dang, how does that happen?.... The boys have been back to school almost a month already- and of course there is no sign of Fall around here. We are crazy busy with homework & reading, testing, Friday folders & special projects. The designers at The Lily Pad & Jessica Sprague have been busy with some great back to school kits- some new- some oldies but goodies.

August freebie!
Hello everyone! I am so lucky to be one of Dani's girls! That is what Dani Mogstad of Design by Dani calls her Creative Team. Every Wednesday I post on her blog - usually highlighting one of her amazing kits - which is a really easy job because her stuff is Ah-May-Zing! She offers a featured kit every month at Jessica Sprgue for only $1.99- such a great deal! I also create a template every month to give to her readers. You too can download the template right here! This is what it looks like.
And this is the layout I created using it and Dani's School Daze kit.
Here are a few others using Design by Dani products. Using the Hello World kit.
Love this one. Using her Beach Party kit.
Dani's feature kit for August is called Pop! Go purchase it for only $1.99 today!

July.... hot & busy, busy!
My sweet MIL Anne was over for dinner tonight and remarked on how she had recently looked at and enjoyed the layouts on my blog- my brain froze and I went, my blog?! Oh my gosh- it has been almost a month since I have posted anything! It is July and the kiddos are out of school and we are busy with a small remodel and doing a bit of traveling when we can- so unfortunately, my blog has been ignored! The good news is I have been keeping up pretty good with Project Life and all my CT commitments! Here are a few layouts I've done this past month. If you are a digi scrapper and have some time - please check out the shops at both Jessica Sprague and The Lily Pad - there are some amazing products and freebies just waiting for you!
First layouts using products by Splendid Fiins - available at The Lily Pad.
This one below was even chosen to be a Gallery standout on The Lily Pad blog!
Here are a few using some of Liv.edesigns products - available at Jessica Sprague
And finally here are some Project Life layouts using the fabulous pocket templates by Valorie Wibbons and some of Splendid Fiins and Laurie Ann's PL cards/elements.
Enjoy the rest of July and hopefully I will be back in early August with more! Thanks for looking!

I am so lucky!....
I made the Creative Team for HGD by Laurie Ann! This was a huge call at The Lily Pad. I have loved Laurie Ann's designs over the years, but wasn't really sure I wanted to be on another team, but in the end- I decided to throw my hat in and was THRILLED that I was chosen! Laurie Ann's kits are timeless, beautiful, extremely genererous kits that are so, so easy to scrap with. In addition to that, she is one of the nicest people ever! Plus I thought it would be functional to be on another team at TLP. So, yea me- so excited to work with Laurie Ann and these talented ladies! Here is a small sample of what I've done with her stuff the last couple of weeks.
This one was chosen to be on TLP blog- I used her "My Story" kit.
This one is called "Take my Hand" and was perfect for Father's Day photos.
Her latest release called "Heart in Hand".
Another one with "Heart in Hand" - love those colors with the black & white photos. So please go check out Laurie Ann's stuff right here! Thanks for looking!
