Speed Scrap Event

Last week at the big 5 year birthday celebration at Jessica Sprague.com we had several
online events going on everyday.  One of the days we held 5 "speed scraps" every 2 hours.
A speed scrap is when someone from the site (this time hosted by my Creative Team buddies)
comes up with guidelines for you to follow every ten minutes for an hour.  Then after an hour
you should have your page completed- talk about pressure!  You have no idea what they are
going to require beforehand - what type of techniques to use, paper, colors, style, pictures - how many, colored or black and white- etc... It is a lot of quick thinking, but ultimately a lot of fun.  The best part is looking in the gallery and seeing how everyone interpreted the instructions, and how different and great all the layouts look.  Did you know you can browse through the gallery at Jessica Sprague? From the Home page, just look for the Gallery tab- once you get to the Gallery you will see
them broken down into different catagories.  My work can usually be found in the General and
also the Inspiration Galleries, or you could just do a search using someone's name.  Here are

Free Class and lots of fun celebrating starts this Monday, June 18th at

I've forgotten along the way.  Another amazing thing about Jessica's classes is

that she is so generous with supplies.  This week & class will be a great

way to stock up on some amazing products- hope to see you in class!

I have been working on several different layouts and am not sure which ones I will submit for
my additional 2 layouts that are required... With company and the boys/dog in the pool, I've taken  quite a few photos lately~ and that will only increase when I get my new lens- more on that later.  Let me know which 2 you think I should submit!  TFL!

June Layouts for LivE Designs

For June I was assigned to one of my favorite deisgners at JessicaSprague.com, her name is Liv and she lives in the Phillipines.  She is the mother of 5boys and was a Teacher and Vice Principal.  Liv teaches an amazing class, called Type + Writer.  This class teaches you all about serif and sans serif fonts, and how to combine different fonts for beautiful word art.  Besides all that, she is a wonderful designer and I loved working with her amazing products this month!  Here's a peek at a couple of layouts.  You can get her products right here http://www.jessicasprague.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=334
