Project Life... and Soccer

Yes, I feel like my project in life these days is soccer!  It is finally cooling down temperature wise, but those Cobra's are heating things up - big win this week-end 8-0!  The boys were so excited.  I
am still a little behind on my Project Life book, and don't put alot of the pages on my blog for various reasons, but I am very thankful for Becky Higgins and her amazing templates, which can be purcased digitally at Jessica Sprague.com .  They really do make documenting quick and easy.  TFL!

These products are from Jennifer Labre.  I haven't worked too much with her stuff, but fell in love with this large moon and the bats.  I remembered I had this picture from last year and thought it was a perfect match!  TFL!

More to Spook you...

It's hard to believe October is already more than half over.  Halloween costumes are in the works.  I got to work with these amazing giant chevron templates, and thought they were perfect to showcase some of the beautiful pumpkins we are enjoying.  These templates are designed by Nisa of Splendid Fiins Designs - and you can get them at www.jessicasprage.com on Oct. 29th- just in time for your own spooky adventures!

Kickin' It! Soccer season...

We have finally started playing games, after practicing for what feels like a very long time.  Our team, the Cobra's is 2-0  Whooo-hoo!!!  We have a great group of kids, an awesome coaching staff, and super fun, supportive parents.  I'll be taking my zoon lens out as soon to get some action shots, but for now- here is a few layouts showing T all geared up!  All products by Anna Aspnes.  Please see my gallery at O'Scraps a full list of her awesome products.

And I am creating for the fabulous Samantha Walker this month at Jessica Sprague.  She has some really great Halloween masks I used with some of her beautiful pattern papers and some of Anna's masks and brushes, and some awesome freebies from HIWAI.

Photography Class with Katrina Kennedy...

I have taken a couple of classes from Katrina Kennedy and she is amazing.  Her website and classes are at www.captureyour365.com.  This class - " Your Life Through the Lens" teaches you how to use your camera to it's full advantage, and how to shoot in Manual Mode.  I originally took this class about a year ago, and have been shooting in Manual ever since.  Katrina offered to let all her old students take the class again for free!! Thank you Katrina.  The second time around is so much better.  Shooting in Manual Mode takes effort, and practice, practice, practice.  We work on everything - focus, apeture, shutter speed, ISO - and how they all work together- or not!  Also lots of great info on composition, lighting, posing people and groups.  She shoots with a Canon also, but has info on every type of DSLR out there.  If your ever wanting to learn to do more with your camera, I would highly reccomend taking an online class with Katrina.  Here are just a few shots that I have taken lately - some for assignments, and some just for fun.  TFL!
